Race 6, Demoisel
First 9 furlong for these gals.
All but one of these horses could win easily, so maybe in this race it's get a price and cross your fingers. I wouldn't go chalky on any of these. Look for 3-1 or better.
2-Tap for Luck.33. Toss the Frizette, look what you get.
3-Full Moon Blues. 33. Never a bad race.
5-Believe in A.P. 32. Don't believe at low odds. Only a maiden win over nobody in Philadelphia. Does have the distance breeding, yes, true.
1-Dixie City. 32. Improving.
1A- Summer Laugh. 32. 2-for 2. Gets the premiere jockey.
4-Light Your World. 29. Light on credentials with only 1x win.
RACE 7, THE REMSEN
None of these youngsters has had a 9-furlong test, so a longshot may be a reasonable way to go here. But then, the favorite does look dominant, so maybe the 5 over his best rivals, as below. Hard to know until the board lights up. Will the crowd make a big mistake? A big price on the 7 would be worth at least a place bet.
5-To Honor and Serve. 36. Has that big win at AQU.
7-Mucho Macho Man. 34. A real fighter with a chance underneath.
4-Bandbox. 33. 3-for-3, awesome connections, why 12/1 ML?1-Buffum 32. Broke maiden at a mile, first lasix, distance breeding.
3-Mountain Town. 31. Battled in the Champagne.
2-Pants on Fire. 29. Sloppy maiden win at Delaware.
6-Economic Summit. 29. Only wins if blinkers good for 14 lengths.
RACE 8, THE GAZELLE
Two chalkers and three with at least some shot.
8-No Such Word 39. Here's hoping crowd discounts Okie win.
1-Awesome Maria 38. Looking back to near miss in Frizette.
5-Dubai Dancer 37. Improving, hates to lose, awesome connections.
3-Quiet Temper 37. Came roaring off last layoff.
7-Seeking the Title 37. Ok, buried in the BC, but still doesn't seem sharp.
2-Belle of the Hall 36. First route, longest win at 7F.
6-Joanie's Catch 36. Likely to hit bottom of the board at big price.
4-Ms Vanenzza. 35. An under-appreciated trainer, but has only won 1x
RACE 9 THE CEE-GAR
Of the 8 horses, 5 are truly in the race.
The overlay will likely be Jersey Town,
who is listed 12-1 ML.
4-Haynesfield 46 points (2-1)
1A- Vineyard Haven 43 points (4-1)
3-Bribon 42 (6-1)
7-Musket Man 42 (6-1)
5-Jersey Town 42 (8-1)
6-Friend or Foe 41 (12-1)
2- Soaring Empire 40 (15-1)
1-Girolomo 40 (20-1 if alone)
8-Half Metal Jacket 39 (30-1)
COMPLETING THE PICK 4 AQU RACE 10
6-28 points
4-26
10-26
And now for the weaker ones...
1-24
5-24
7-24
13-23
12-22
2-21
9-19
11-19

CHURCHILL
KENTUCKY JOCKEY CLUB
Looks like a match race...
5-Astrology 34 points. Four good races including a G3 win.
4-Major Gain 33. First run on true dirt, bad race layoff by top trainer.
The two above look 5 lengths better than any of these:
1-Pride... 28, first route, off allowance nose out in Indiana, layoff.
Seems like a lot to ask after facing such weak competition.
2-Santiva 27. Might wake up with new trainer.
3-Cane Garden Bay 27. Gets a 4/1 ML off maiden win on poly?
Doubt that the crowd will buy that ML.
6-Enable 25. New trainer with no track record, literally.
7-Halo's Thunder 24. Won maiden, bad start in G3. Improvement
would not be a total shocker.
HOLLYWOOD
