CHURCHILL WINNERS APRIL 30

  • 1: (4) Paoli Princess 6/5... 2nd prime bad allowance, back to claimer.
  • 2: (4) Will's Wildcat 7/2... 3rd prime, improving, drop, top trainer and jockey, trainer is maiden specialist, positive ROI.
  • 3: (2) Ridgester 6/1... 2nd prime, just missed at this level, 2nd prime, improving class, awful trainer.
  • 4: (7) Chipshot 9/5... 1st prime, drop into ALW after 6 stakes tries. Connections waking up to reality. (Asmussen/Vinery)
  • 5: (8) Irish Emperor 9/1... awful failure at OP 3/1. But that was at a mile in a starter allowance. Drops to $15K claimer and cuts back to sprint. Sold for $625K and didn't win maiden until 7th try. Lucas waving white flag in $15K claimer. A couple of Connecticut realtors take a whupping.
  • 6: (6) Senecher 29/1... FTS, a 10-1 shot on breeding, cheaply bred, no trainer, jockey, homespun little KY outfit, hope they placed a bet.
  • 7: (14) Valid Citizen 4/1... 3rd prime, 3 good at this level.
  • 8: (3) Machen 6/1... 3rd prime, slight drop after mediocre
  • 9: (5) Oregon Lady 5/2... 1st prime, won last two.
  • 10: (1) Need an Angel 5/1... 2nd layoff, ROI drop after awful on wrong surface, top jock, good this level.
  • 11: (9) Babu 6/1... 2nd prime, 2 straight wins, 28% trainer. 5-f0r-12 lately , 90% win-place in last 10 races. Cheap wins at low odds, these people lack ambition.
