BELMONT, MEMORIAL DAY

1 win for 7 bets
$14.00 in and $9.70 back.
Not our greatest peformance ever!

1-- Raw Cat. Best finishes in this class.
Beaten favorite.

2-- Seeking No More, on Prado switch.
Beaten even money favorite.

3-- Commentator? Not on this megadrop after a layoff, and certainly not at 2/5. I would go Starcastic to beat him, or pass.
15 cents for $1. How could anyone pass that up? In fact, though, there was $500,000 in the main pool! That was about an average pool for the day.

4-- Martial Assett-Winstrella will be grossly overbet. Three in the Bag to beat 'em.
Three in the Bag faded after speeding to the front.

5-- Thunderestimate if 3-1 or so.
Won and paid $9.30

6-- 1,2,3,5 Super or any exotic combination.
Or, the better option, pass.

7-- Dr. Freud on the switch to JR.
Led and fled.

8-- Account for the Gold win-place, and mixed up with Silver Wagon in an exacta. Lawyer Ron? I think not. He's just another condenter here. Half Ours, Sun King, Latent Heat, Corinthian, Silent Name -- any of these could win, so demand a price.
We bet Silver Wagon, as Account for the Gold was scratched. Corinthian won, and that was no surprise, but you can't bet 'em all.

9-- Perfect Bullet at just about any price.
Another beaten favorite. Do I detect a pattern here?

10-- Blind bet a longshot or better yet, go home now and beat the traffic coming in from The Island.
Finally, a winning strategy.
