ANDY, ANDY, ANDY

I just perused Beyer's pre-BC column.
He gets nothing.
I mean nothing out of the whole card.

After complaining that the execs made it too easy for rubes (he's not a rube, you see) to hit the P6, he goes oh-fer.

  • In the F&M Turf he dithers: Ouija and Wait a While. Yeah we know Andy. Which one?
  • In the sprint he picked Henny, then hedged with some closers, all of whom finished up the track.
  • Then he picked Gorella.
  • Then he said Fleet Indian stunk, and picked a few losers that were supposedly better.
  • Then Hurricane Ron.
  • Then Bernardini, which he anticipates will clinch his Pick 6.

He missed both juveniles, too. Maybe it's worth remembering next time you have a bad day at the track that the inventor of speed figs was 0-for-8 on the biggest racing day of the year.
