RACE 8: Speedy 5-year old vs. speedy 3-year-old. Will they wear each other down for Baze's closer, Sweet Ambition (5)?
Both Vaca City Flyer (1) and Shaggy Mane (6) are likely to go off at 6/5, so I'm watching for odds on that closer.
Shaggy paid $4.60. The improving 3-year-old won. Sound familiar? But at 6-5, I won't lose any sleep over backing Russell's closer.
