KEENELAND OCTOBER 13

1: Hot chalk: Remoulade. First time on poly so look for 2/1.

2: Canali, listed at 5/1. Plunge.
*Canali 116@91, 2 aw wins. That $5000 claimer was very tough.
*Never Yield 117@88, 1 aw win. Probably the 2nd best horse, 4/1 ML, needs hot pace.
*Swiss Reserve 115@88. Maybe a shot at show.
*Don't Get... 114@87. 3 aw wins but against softer, even at higher claim price. Canali's race was tougher.
*Silver Titan, 6/1. Waste of time. They juiced this horse back at Mountaineer, got a monster race out of him, and ruined him.

3: Hot chalk: U.S Cavalry.

4: Zaynab is the ML darling. He's been the failed favorite in 7 of his last 10 races, which tells you that some bettors are slow learners. Every good jockey in North America has tried to coax a win out of this guy. Maybe, maybe he'll like the plastic surface, but off his recent record, he's a 9/1 shot.

Unforgotten, 3/1, is sharp.

5: Love Handles listed at 7/2, which is probably fair. Exacta box with Tejida, who himself is worth a win bet at the ML 5/1.

6: Hot chalk: Escrow. Two lengths better than the competition, a nose-out last time, and a bullet since. Whaddya want?

7: THE PERRYVILLE
Les Grandes Trois, listed at 8/5, is ridiculously underpriced. Has never raced on AW and should be 7/2. Look for a horse paying at least 4/1.
*Les Grandes Trois 121@100
In order of preference:
*Chihulykee 119@101 2/2 AW
*Steve's Double, 121@100 but not on AW.
*Shrewd Operator 118@94, 2/2 AW
*Demarcation, 118@92 1/1 AW
*Three Twenty Three 117/94 3/5 AW

8: Rumari at 5/1 could pick up the pieces of what is otherwise an all-speed race.

9: Dreaming of Anna. They wouldn't be fools enough to give the ML of 3/1, would they?

10: Twisting Road. 15/1. Won two claimers in a row and crowd is going to downplay his chances, even with Albarado aboard, because this is a first-level allowance.
